Was speaking to my Dad about why a commercial Cavendish variety of banana shouldn't eventually grow some fruit.
I've had some of these banana plants for several years, they get good heat and light, but have never had even a hint of any fruit, so there is presumably a reason for that, but we did not know what that reason might be.
